Why do we include pronouns on our email footers?
We do this because we are committed to inclusion and gender diversity. By including people's preferred pronouns, such as she/her or they/them, we are normalising the idea that gender isn't binary. It allows our team to feel comfortable expressing their identity. It avoids assumptions and promotes acceptance and understanding.
It's a small thing to do, but it can have a big impact on making people feel welcome and accepted.
