Period Pants

Description

The perfect match to your Molke Bra. Just because you have your period, that doesn't mean you can't have Molke comfort.  Molke Period Pants look and feel like our usual briefs but are designed to absorb your menstrual flow.  Better for the environment and better for your body!

With a similar design to our popular high rise briefs, these period pants sit comfortably on your natural waist.  We’ve also made sure to include a longer gusset to give you greater leak protection.

Our Period Pants are for a Medium to Heavy flow, meaning they absorb up to 15ml -  this is the equivalent to 2-3 regular tampons.  They can be a complete replacement for your current cup, tampon or pad or they offer extra leak protection at night, during long shifts or on those days when you just need to perform.  Absorbency will increase after the first few washes.

*When you receive your Period Pants, after checking they fit, you need to wash them on 30℃ before wearing to activate the absorbency.

Please note for hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of any washed or worn Period Pants.  Please check the fit over the top of clothing before doing the initial wash.

Molke period pants are vegan and made with a soft and breathable GOTs-certified organic cotton jersey fabric with a 100% cotton towelling layer that is backed up a waterproof layer to help prevent leaks.  They are made in a socially responsible factory in Portugal.

We hope you will join us to reduce waste. Single-use menstrual products are a huge contributor to plastic pollution: the average person who menstruates will use over 11,000 disposable, single-use menstrual products in their reproductive lifetime, and annually, 100 billion period products are manufactured and discarded worldwide - all of which will take over 1,000 years to decompose.

Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. As such, your product may vary slightly from those images.

Please note, there can be minimal differences in fabrics as cotton is a natural product. We can never fully predict how the fibres will react to the dying and weaving process.

Sizing

Due to Period Pants having less stretch than our regular briefs, we would recommend sizing up if you are on the cusp of two sizes or prefer a more gentle fit on the legs.

Briefs Size guide - XS - UK 6/8, S - UK 10/12, M - UK 12/14, L - UK 14/16, XL - UK 18/20, 2XL - UK 20/22, 3XL - UK 24/26, 4XL - UK 28/30 Please contact us at pixie@molke.co.uk for help with sizing.

Please get in touch via the contact us page if you need further help. We recommend measuring around the fullest parts of your hips to get the best size for you.

Caring for your Molke

Molke period pants are made from:

Outer layer: GOTs-certified organic cotton jersey, composed of 95% cotton, 5% elastane.

Inner layer:  100% cotton towelling

Inner waterproof layer: 100% polyurethane

After checking the fit over the top of your clothes, you must wash your period pants before wearing them for the first time - this activates the absorbency.

Once you have worn them, give them a rinse in cold water, then just pop them in the wash with similar dark colours at 30℃.  Some people use a wet bag or box to store them in before washing.  Do not use fabric softener as this will reduce their absorbency.  Your period pants will be happiest air dried, as tumble drying will damage them over time.
